A step above absolute beginner, but I had to start somewhere! Still life, portraits and figure drawing is on the agenda. There is a real focus on concepts, techniques, mediums, etc… The three hours that I spend every week in the classroom is so incredibly satisfying. I truly immerse myself in what I am doing and I have no other cares in the world. Obviously, the time flies and my next goal is to set some time aside during the week so I can start to sketch at home. I’ll add sketches as I complete them and hopefully they will progress as my creativity flows. The first few sketches are mostly charcoal, although the Goat-skin Pot I did in pencils (I wasn't brave enough for charcoal at that point).
